“The French group was composed of 12 kids between the ages of 16 and 17 and two team leaders. The French association that manages this project is CÉMÉA.
The kids were friends and the most of them had been to the ART CAMP for some years already.
To better approach the topic of colonialism, they discussed starting from their own knowledge. They decided to play the self-mockery card to show the mistakes of our ancestors: the colonists. With that, they edited together a video where they performed a short movie.
The ART CAMP encouraged them to speak different languages, to create relations with unknown people, to live in community facing others‘ different ways of being and thinking.“
